Our Story
Our Beginning
Home From Home Care was founded in 2004 by Paul, Ann and Hugo de Savary, inspired by Laura, their daughter and sister. Built around their deeply personal experience, it became an outstanding residential care environment where adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex physical and mental health needs can live their lives to the fullest.
That lived experience shaped everything: an uncompromising commitment to person-centred care, a purpose-driven culture, and a groundbreaking data-informed approach that sets us apart in the sector.
A Gap In The Sector
Over 22 years, one thing became clear: too many people were falling through the gap between residential care and traditional supported living. For individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex physical and mental health needs, the jump from 24-hour residential care to independent living can feel overwhelming, and for many, it simply isn't the right fit.
What We Built
HFHC Specialist Supported Living was created as the answer. A ‘Next Step’ service that sits in between, offering the security and specialist expertise of registered care, while actively building towards greater independence.
Nuanced, person-centred, and rooted in real lived experience: we offer something the sector has been missing.
